There WILL BE an Oahu Coastal Challenge on May 23
Although people are getting vaccinated, businesses are opening and travel is starting to happen again, The Oahu Coastal Relay suggests gathering and we don’t want to take a chance, so the Coastal Relay on April 24th is cancelled.

Molokai is still off the grid and not ready for the pressures of a full scale event which we all can respect, so the Molokai Challenge on May 23rd is cancelled.

The paddling community has been training, however, so we will continue the “semi virtual” roll and shift the May 23rd race to be on Oahu, and the mileage will be substantial.

  • May 23rd is the Oahu Coastal Challenge.
  • The race may be a solo, a relay or both. Details to follow in the coming weeks.
  • Keep training for a race longer than the Outrigger Zone Championship.
