COURSES

Long Course: 21 miles. Kaimana Beach to Phoenician Boat Yard at Kalaeloa Harbor.

Alternate if no wind. 16.5 miles: Sand Island to Phoenician Boat Yard at Kalaeloa Harbor.

Short Course: 10 miles. From the Phoenician to Barbers point to Electric Beach and back to the Phoenician at Kalaeloa Harbor.

Mini Course: 5 miles. From the Phoenician to Barbers point and back to the Phoenician at Kalaeloa Harbor.

DIVISIONS: OC-6, OC-3, OC-2, OC-1, Surfski, SS-2, SUP, Prone paddleboard, V-1

Entry is $60.00 per person.

RACE MORNING CHECK IN:

Long course at Kaimana 7:30 – 8:30 a.m.
Short and Mini at The Phoenician 8:30 – 9:30 a.m.

START TIMES:

Long: 9:30 a.m.
Short: 10:30 a.m.
Mini: 10:30 a.m.

THE FINISH: The finish area is hosted and made possible by The Phoenician Boat Yard at 91-573 Malakole St., Kapolei.

LONG COURSE: 20 miles. Kaimana Beach to Phoenician Boat Yard at Kalaeloa Harbor. For safety purposes, we would like everyone to have a VHF handheld radio, and/or a cell phone with a tracking app (Life360, Garmin, etc…), with your emergency contact on land tracking you. Start just off Kaimana Beach and head to Barbers point. After you round Barbers Point stay close to shore. The finish is about 2 miles past Barbers Point. A half mile before the Ihilani and Aulani Resort you will see the yellow Maui Jim Finish line buoy just off the beach before the harbor mouth.

Alternate Long course if no wind – from Sand Island: 16.5 miles

As you approach Barbers point be aware of the offshore Moorings. You must stay out of the Barbers Point Offshore Moorings security zone: (33CFR165.1407(a)(5). This should not be a problem if you are on the fastest line to the finish (coming back close to the island by then).
