Due to a south wind forecast for the KONA BREWING Oahu Championship this Sunday March 19, the course may be modified as follows:

Long course will start from Hawaii Kai and finish in Kailua. 16 miles

Short course will start at Makai Pier and finish in Kailua. 7.7 miles

If the wind shifts to trades, or is light and variable, the course will stand as prescribed from Makai Pier to Magic Island.  See attached maps for alternate. Exact details such as finish line location and post race info TBD.

Race check in will remain at Hawaii Kai. The long course will start at 10:00 a.m. and the short course starting time is TBD, but after the long course start.

Don’t forget to register before midnight FRIDAY March 17 at www.flpregister.com.

Kialoa Competition: Single canoe (OC1 or V1) long course Open division.
Male and Female. $100 Gift certificate!
