KIRA Elite Knockout – Results 2021
Divisions: OC-1, Open Men and Women.
Courses: Race venue changes with each qualifying event. 1- 2-mile (c. 15 minute) sprints. Start and finish in the same location.
KIRA Elite Knockout Roster – Final Schedule
Details: There have been 2 qualifying events so far with a 3rd and final trial day on Oahu coming up. The 3rd qualifier/trial day was scheduled for Sunday April 04, however, that is now postponed until Sunday April 25th. The neighbor islands will have their own qualifiers and send their best to the finals.
Trial #3 is an Oahu trial which neighbor island paddlers can join, but given the difficulty of travel, we’ve given slots in the finals specifically for each island so paddlers don’t need to travel twice. Plus we’ve thrown in a few wild card slots.
The finals will be on Saturday May 29th. Locations TBD.

With COVID protocols in place, there will be no large meetings or post race formalities.
Positive development of the series and sponsors pending, there may be a cash purse for the finals.
