Pre-registration: If you haven’t purchased the season package, the cost is $38.00 ($18.00 for Juniors 18 and under) online at www.flpregister.com until FRIDAY midnight Feb. 28.
Late registration on race day: $45.00. So PREREGISTER!
Race day check in at Hawaii Kai: 7:00AM–9:00AM
Divisions: OC-6, OC-3, OC-2, OC-1, Surfski, SUP, Prone paddleboard, V-1
Long course: 11 miles. Hawaii Kai to the Hilton Lagoon at Kaisers.
Short Course: 6 miles. Hilton Lagoon to Buoy near Kaimana, to Kewalo Basin and back to the Hilton Lagoon at Kaisers.
NEW INSURANCE PROGRAM: Every paddler is encouraged to “join” the ACA (American Canoe Association). The cost is $25.00 for the 2020 year and it covers your insurance for all KIRA events, and any other ACA insured event in the nation. Choose COMPETITION INDIVIDUAL/ Kanaka Ikaika “Paddle Club”/Outrigger as primary competition discipline. DON’T choose any ICF discipline. Otherwise, if you choose to do race by race it will cost $5.00 each race.
Race anything you want, but today the Maui Jim Waterman discipline of the day is OC-1! $650.00 purse for OC-1.
