* Maui Jim (MJ) Waterman’s Series has designated disciplines on selected race dates – You do not need to race that discipline unless you want to vie for the series.
Every race is open to Outrigger canoes, SUPs, Surfskis and Prone Paddleboards, regardless of any designated series race.
Featuring:
ISLAND AIR Ocean Racing Series. Craft specific point series. The ISLAND AIR Ocean Racing Series adds points from your best 3 out of 6 races in the craft of your choice. Qualifying races are #1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7.
MAUI JIM Waterman Series. Multi craft point series. The MAUI JIM Waterman Series adds points from each designated race in the designated craft of the day. Best 4 of 5 races: Qualifying races are #1, 2, 4, 6 and 7.
SCOTT HAWAII Gold Challenge
- The SCOTT Gold Challenge has 2 parts:
- There will be a $50.00 American Eagle gold coin awarded to the most consistent paddler in his/her division of any craft, short or long course. Must have 3 entries per division. Drop 1 of 7 races. Qualifying races are #1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8.
- SCOTT Team Gold Challenge: Male and female paddlers team up in 3 of the ISLAND AIR ocean racing series races where the most combined points wins two $25.00 American Eagle gold coins. 2nd place wins two $10.00 American Eagle gold coins and 3rd wins two $1.00 American Eagle silver coins. Age group winners will also win a $1.00 American Eagle silver coin. Qualifying races are races #3, 6 and 8.
- The SCOTT Gold Challenge has 2 parts:
KIALOA Competition: A different division will be chosen each race, with a male and female winner. Prize is a custom Kialoa paddle of the winner’s choice.
